The hotel on Rapa Nui is happening as we speak.

The Explora Corp. has already imported building materials and broken ground.

Now they want to put Casinos there.

The investors in Chile would make all the money, not the islanders.

The islanders do NOT want the casinos on their island.

BUT -

YOU can help!

"
The word has come from the island that this is a good time to send a formal letter to the Regional Government of the Vth Region in regard to the projected gambling casinos on Easter Island. The Regional Government is where all Projects for the island are discussed, planned and paid, but also deals with political issues like autonomy or a private project like the Casino. The Rapanui Comision de Desarollo (a commission made up of Rapanui islanders) is opposed to having Casinos on the island, and they are asking for our help. If you can, please send a letter to the name below, objecting (very politely) to the idea of the casinos on the island.

Mr. René Lues, Secretario Ejecutivo
Gobierno Regional V Región; Intendencia
Valparaíso, Chile
