When everyone else was going to rock/hardcore/punk shows I was seeing artists unknown to the vast majority of the world. If I were to mention that I saw Dennis Brown, U-Roy, Mutabaruka, Delroy Wilson, Culture, Yellowman, Sister Nancy, Burning Spear, Eek A Mouse, Nicodemus, etc. would anyone care? Probably not so I'll stop now. :)
