Johntiki, I read a recent interview with Jerry where he stated that he & Doyle wrote most of the music & Glenn wrote most of the lyrics, but when they'd be rehearsing Jerry & Doyle couldn't always tell what Glenn was singing & they'd stop and ask if so-and-so was the lyric, if Glenn liked their version better he'd change it to what they said (so you're not the only person to not understand what Glenn was saying, the rest of the band wasn't always sure, either :) ).
