Go crazy with that Cool & Current button, that's what it's there for.

Bumping of topics is generally not the thing to do unless you're actually saying something new, but my own 2 coconuts worth is that maybe that only applies if the last post was made in the past month or two. Or if the thread was genuinely sucky and it was really better off dead, but that doesn't apply here.
