I came up with this drink after looking at the Banana Boat in one of Beachbum Berry's books. I was looking for a lighter (by alcohol content) drink for my annual party. Some folks are not up to drinking Zombies and Scorpions all night.

In a ten ounce glass filled most of the way with crushed ice add:

1 ounce Malibu rum (or other coconut rum)
1 ounce Creme de Banana
Top up with pineapple juice (about 4 ounces)
2 dashes of Angostora Bitters

Stir until the bitters and liquor are evenly mixed.

It makes a nice easy drinking drink, and the bitters add a nice spicy, almost vanilla, flavor while cutting down the sweetness.

I've come up with two names "The Flangana" and "The Monkey Fist".

What do you think?

Edited to correct my horrible spelling!
