This movie has a scene shot at a googie style motel that has a very cool bamboo infested lobby and little bar, but there aren't any tikis. Lots of good 50's lamps though. Does anyone know where they filmed the motel scene? Also, the New York Times had an article last Sun. about the resurgence of the googie motel in a town near Palm Springs, I forget the name of the town, something like Desert Hot Springs.
