Wow....
I have to chime in here against the day-glo thing. I mean, to each his own, whatever...but alot of the recent mass produced tiki stuff seems to be using these day-glo colored tikis and I just don't get it myself.
For me, part of the attraction of tikis themselves has been the beautiful natural WOOD and wood colors..you know, the jungle, nature, etc. etc. I guess I also associate "tiki" and "exotica" with more earthy colors..darker greens, browns, with some reds or orange thrown in. Day-glo doesn't work for me..:)
but..HEY..ANY TIKI is better than NO TIKI. So, "God Bless'em"
