The pinup art of the '50s. In particular Gil Elvgren - the man has some awesome art that has me droolin like a puppy in a butcher. (closely related to betty page and burlesque, but different enough i feel to warrant a mention). WWII nose art as seen on the fighter planes of the time. In particular the ones that played on words like "Miss Behavin","Lucy Equipment" etc. |
