I imagine it would be very hard to find menus at thrift shops. Maybe at yard sales, but I don't do yard sales (too much frustration). For two years I've been asking antique stores "do you have menus?" and it has yielded one find. Flea markets seem to have a lot of folks selling paper collectibles and I always ask them if they have menus. Finally scored today.

Today I asked the vendors where they get their menus and they said that they have an ad in the Yellow Pages and it states that they buy paper collectibles and so people call them up. Plus they have a network of contacts. The guy told me he has a friend with a quarter million post cards in a warehouse!

Keep searching. I just don't get how there's so many menus on ebay but I never see them "in the wild." Maybe yard sales and estate sales are the answer.
