Thank goodness we cleared that up! Sorry, Tikibars, if I misunderstood your statement about making a CD from an original vinyl copy of a record not meaning it's legit and the music being under copyright, not the medium. I understood it, of course, but didn't "get it" at the same time. The Availablity issue is what is worth paying attention to. It, really, is the only thing that makes "trading" worthwhile to begin with.

Swanky's list is perfect (not only a perfect list, but a perfect example for us to follow). It gives us plenty to look forward to and, at the same time, allows people to let him know if they have a problem with him offering what he's offering. I'll be posting my own lists soon. I kinda wish we'd thought of doing it sooner despite the fact that it would have superceded my last, I feel, very well written post.

One thing I love about TC is the degree to which we can all agree to not disagree. Damn. Lot's of "gree"s in that last sentence...
