Sometimes it is the method in how you carve and not only the tools. I've found you don't have to spend a ton on a variety of chisels... my favorite tikis are created with 3 flat chisels and a v gouge... watching your progress has given me some ideas on how you can go about your tikis in the future. Swing by my table at Huki and we'll talk tiki for a bit! I'd say between Ben, BK, Diablo, Tiki G., Me and any other veteran carvers in attendence we can give you a crash course right there at Hukilau.
