Just pretend you can't come and come on down anyway.. Hope all's OK up there in the Frozen country. As far ass stain on a mahogany piece, I wouldn't stain it unless with Mahogany stain. That is of course unless you need a particualr color for a decorating issue. Mahogany will stain Nice and evenly. Mahog is probably the World Standard in "woodworkers" wood. It already has nice color but if you want it darker, just use dark mahogany stain and it will be Nice. Rethink the Hukilau. Ofcourse Next year is the one NOT to Miss since it is the MaiKai's 50th year anniversary. Gotta be there for that one.
