Ladies and crossdressers too, and straight folks are made most welcome as long as they're friendly! Personally I find this a great improvement over the angry monster truck dudes, loudmouthed tweakers, drug-dealers and truly scary alkies who used to populate the place... Mind you, I still think the best time to go to any vintage bar is in the afternoon on a weekday. Oldtimer clientele are the best. It's sad that The Tiki doesn't seem to have much of that...where DO old folks in Modesto drink, I wonder?
