It's sad that The Tiki doesn't seem to have much of that...where DO old folks in Modesto drink, I wonder? i can answer this! at MINNIE'S!!! minnie's has a regular lunch clientele which mainly consists of lawyers and old regulars. there is one man who is there EVERYday and he claims that he used to help out minnie wu in the kitchen back in the day (when hop owned it!). my work scheduled doesnt allow me to do lunch at minnie's, but some day i am determined to interview this man. he is bound to have some great stories.
