Tiki Central / Tiki Carving / I think it has reached a point where it bears discussion...

One little thing still bothers me. Am I the only one who
gets the feeling that carvers are the "soft underebelly"
of Tiki Central society? Someone in authority is clearly
discouraging us from complimenting the work of others...

  1. this is not carving central
  2. too many "hey that's neat" posts
I've never seen people discouraged from making simple
compliments regarding Tiki Magazine....the Shag prints....
    the Ape Mugs....etc...etc....
I feel compelled to offer positive comments to fellow
carvers (note I don't say "artists") but it seems the
"ohana" campfire is burning low...and I don't want to
irritate anyone who stumbles into a thread to find out
    "what's new."
I'm leaving for several days and will be off the
    computer...that's probably a good thing. Perhaps I
won't be so stubborn when I return.
I'm feeling like such an outcast that I'm wondering if
anyone wants to buy my shag prints.
