That is one helluva good ku. The finish is a nailer...looks very old. Duke Kahanomoku-would-be-proud level. Just curious-are there exotic wood restrictions or shortages in Australia? I had asked several people a couple of years ago about raw mahogany or ironwood (I've never carved either)and got no can do replies...
