Tiki + Mardi Gras in South Florida! 2007 Season! (pg 2) - Other Events

I'm headed to Miami for the International Boat Show this Feb. I used to be in a Krew in Tampa for Gasparilla, their nod to Mardi Gras. It was fun until some dude tried to pull my costume off me while I was in the parade. I told him, it's just plastic beads! My husband said I missed the point, he wanted to see something else. I now know to stay a little more than an arms length away from the barriers! I love to design costumes, and I made several for my Krew! Maybe I can make it this year. We may live in Hawaii, but we plan to retire to North Carolina and sail the Carribean for the winters. It would be fun to have a fun reason to be in the area.
