Well if you are going to the Big Island you can't do any better than to stay with Dug. His place is Tiki Heaven. He is the ultimate host. He will give you directions to all the best and lesser known areas of the island. You will feel like a local not a tourist. My wife and I stayed there this year for our first trip to Hawaii.
