Although you may be a bit turned off by the smell outside of The Embers, do go in to see the devilish murals from the 50's which portray Jane Russell, Vincent Price and other stars from the past with horns on their head. One thing I am going to warn you about though is please do not dine at the old 'Chris n pits' a block away, as I have witnessed the waitresses pinching food to eat from the food trays that they are bringing out of the kitchen :( Also the Montebello bowl-Montebello on Beverly Blvd has a really cool lounge made from lava? rock ande googie archtecture that I used to frequent. Although the hostess can get a tad bit selfish with the karaoke mike there. Havefun!!
