I won't be able to make it. I just wish the Hilton would listen to the people instead of the "me me me" egos of a few numbskull executives. Old Coke/New Coke. But I've worked in the hotel industry before, and the clueless isolation of the average executive or owner in that industry from reality is staggering. Constantly seeking a richer understanding of what is already understood. Which leaves timeless, always-in-style historic landmarks like Trader Vic's in the "flavor of the day" dust.
