Has Polynesian decor. Super Mai Tais. Excellent steaks; get the tenderloin filet, twice baked potato and house salad. Small party room for 25. Balcony for booths. BEST, MOST COST-EFFECTIVE FILET, IN LA. SHRIMP AHOY. In El Monte at Live Oak and Peck Road, and in Rosemead at the Peck Rd. exit from the 10, north one block, turn right. Same owner. Fried shrimp so big (the Colossal) it's the size of your hand, and just two is a filling meal. Nautical diner decor. Great prices, great fried seafood, great cole slaw, fries. Eat-in at booths or carry out. SHRIMP LOVERS will thank me for this.
