So I get another cool 1950s B movie to watch while I recover from a torn achilles tendon. While watching the opening credits with Waikiki in the background, I see Don The Beachcomber listed as Technical Director. Then the movie opens in a "Tiki" bar with the Tapa lamps on the tables and Luahala on the walls and ceilings. Could this be Don The Beachcombers? Lots of outdoor shots with torches, bamboo and giant clam shells, and a large neon sign out front that says "Chet's Hawaiian Retreat". Except for a breif shot in Hollywood, the whole 90 minute movie appears to have been shot in Hawaii. I will try to post some pics from the movie when I get batteries for the crap-cam.

I like the font....

I'll try to post more after the holidays......Aloha!
