Just a note on that blender. Traditionally, Polynesian cocktails are not blended, but made with a top MIXER (before that, they were hand shaken of course). Best known are the Hamilton Beach ones. Blenders came into style with the Margarita cocktail. The old time mixologists insist on mixers, stating that the resulting texture is different. |
