In the newest issue of Juxtapoz, Roberts talks about his dislike of the term "lowbrow" because he doesn't like the often negative connotations that the art world attaches to it, that it demeans the artwork itself. I tend to agree with him; I think that lowbrow art is just as valid an art form as conceptual or other types of art.
