Here's the one I'm working on tonite.It's a west coast style portrait mask.
Northern style masks are much more anatomicly correct,where west coast and southern masks are much more abstract.It's a real challenge for me,but you seem to learn the most by hard stuff
I'm trying to take some of the design elements from this beautiful mask by Loren White.
His is female and the one I"m attempting will be male.
I kind of wrecked it by going too deep on the brow and too small on the nose,but by going deeper I think I can save it.


If I could have just one adze,I would pick the sitka straight adze.
I use that one most
