wow, tikisgrl, fantastic finds. I was thinking exactly what Humu2 posted before I scrolled down that far. awesome awesome stuff! Personally, I'd rather have a mug with a crack than no mug at all.
SneakyJack, also good finds. Looks like you got some killer records there, and a nice vintage Kon-Tiki complete with dust jacket! If you look on the lower right hand side of the back cover (near the spine) check for a small depression in the cover, maybe about the size of a large pin head, maybe a little bigger. Books with this dot in the cover were produced for a book club. The copy of KonTiki I found a while back was a book club edition. I don't know if there's any other ways to determine a first edition.
