rattan redux reuse recycle - Tiki Carving

Great idea! I recently scored a base piece from the neighbor's trash and took the glass top off an ugly patio table my sis gave me and made a natty rattatty end/coffee table from it, now I need a set for my other ideas; jigsaw a round of plywood, masonite etc. and affix to top of said papasan base and place round cushion on top, shazam! ottoman or short stool. Also, remove the smaller round piece from the papasan base and nail or attach it with rawhide/lacing to the bottom of the papasan "bowl" and place glass round or other material on top, now u have a large round coffee table.
