If you read the description in the auction, it has a manufacturing flaw (a chip under the glaze on the rim). Perhaps it was deemed unsuitable for sale, and Holden sent it to Where The Bad Mugs Go. Since it doesn't have gold paint yet, I'd guess that the other 6 hundred some-odd mugs are currently getting painted and/or waiting for their green partners to get glazed & painted. |
