Really! First Carve? That's fantastic. I'm a NOOB and I've carved 4 things and I'm getting depressed...I wish I could do what you did the first time! It's awesome. All the stuff out here is great quality, seems, except for my stuff...wah! Ok. I'm done crying. Nice job.

It DOES look like Elvis though. But that's ok :wink:

hahaha...damn elvis....as for the first tiki i'll be honest...i played around on a small chunk of wood for a while to get a feel for the tools but this was the first "hey everybody else is doin it" tiki....starting out is tough but man, getting a real set of chisels and gouges made a HUGE difference...and thanks to vontiki, i'll soon have another log to spill blood on.
