A question regarding event marketing.

By what method do you usually learn of a future tiki event?

-Email such as Otto's "TikiEvents" posts
-Ads in a tiki magazine (Tiki News or Tiki Magazine) for example
-Event websites
-Direct mail announcements sent to your home.
-Radio announcements on stations like "Vegas Vics Tiki Lounge"
-Online discussion lists such as Tiki Central
-Word of mouth

Follow up question:

Which of those listed above prove to be the most reliable or persuasive?

Does hearing about the event from a trusted source sway your decision to attend more so than an informative website?
