It is estimated that the design phase of this project will require at least two years. Based on this statement, we don't expect the Tropicana to close any time soon

Pinnacle Gaming has announced it plans to acquire Aztar. This will combine the resources of the two companies making development of the Tropicana site in Las Vegas more likely, although the press release states:
