Kaikaina, thanks, I really like it. I opted for the steel, as to do it traditionally would have required an appt. a few months later and a couple "stretchers" to stretch the skin for the artist.

It took about 3 hrs. of actual tattoing, plus a little while for prep and drawing a stencil of my design. Cost was $400.. if that helps. I went with the shop after doing some research and then checking out a few shops in LA who didn't want to attempt it, and they each told me to go there, since they were specialists in polynesian designs and do a lot of them. I'm glad I did.
