Well, considering WE are engaging in a little voting manipulation, I would not be surprised if the competition is doing something along those lines, and some friends of some of the places are slipping in some negative reviews with others...wouldn't that get the ratings of the leading competitors down?
That seems like the only explanation for that "watered down drinks" critique...

It never ceases to amaze me how some people have NO sense for vintage qualities, mixing up new with old and good style with bad style. It's like they have EYES but do not SEE. Another world.
