What would you be doing instead? - Beyond Tiki

I have serious impulse control problems when it comes to shopping, especially when it's tiki-related. I'm perpetually broke because I can't seem to stop buying mugs, Shag prints, etc. My New Year's resolution this year was to shop at Oceanic Arts at least once a month. This is the longest I've ever been able to stick to a resolution. I'd have more time to write. I finished a manuscript just before my first Oasis. Never submitted it to a publisher. Haven't written anything since then. I think I'm happier this way though.
