It's time again for the semi-annual Florida Collectibles & Vintage Memorabilia Show. Aside from oodles of vintage Floridiana, there's always Florida-tiki stuff - Tiki Gardens memorabilia, old mugs from the Mai Kai, etc. The April 30th show is at a new location, the fabulous 15,000 square foot Coliseum in downtown St. Petersburg. In addition to over 75 exhibitors of vintage Floridiana, there will be Florida Highwaymen artists, old Florida tourism flicks showing such delights at mermaids at Weeki Wachee!, and lectures and book authors. Don't miss the lecture by Charlie Carlson, "Florida's Master of the Weird." This show is huge - even The Washington Post is sending staff to cover it for a feature in their Travel section. Hey, this is also a chance to say hello to Bre-elle, who'll be doing the honors as our "Florida Orange Juice Girl" complete with fishnet stockings and 50's era bathing suit, spreading Florida OJ cheer to the crowd! And it'll be a HUGE crowd (three to four thousand anticipated), so try and nab a parking spot early. And bring money! Show is on Sunday, April 30th, from 10:00am to 5:00pm at the Coliseum, 535 Fourth Avenue North, downtown St. Petersburg. Need the details? Call 727-363-4852 or visit http://www.hulahula.biz.
