Mahalo!

Has anyone ever seen this mug before? I found him in a thrift store a few years ago in Baltimore. The only marking is the word "JAPAN" on the bottom. I have been calling him "Mr. Mizaru" and I would love to find his partners in crime.

Any and all help would be most appreciated.
