Featuring some of Tease-O-Rama's favorite folks, this year the event is hosted by comedian/actress Margaret Cho and underground music legend El Vez, with Kitten on the Keys (SF) and Miss Astrid (NYC), Miss Exotic World Weekend: Las Vegas or BUST! will showcase 100+ top-flight performers from around the globe, representing over 50 years of experience, 20 states and five countries. The Exotic World Burlesque Museum, home of the world's largest collection of vintage burlesque art and artifacts, will be celebrating its impending relocation (from Helendale, California to Las Vegas, Nevada), with three days and nights of unforgettable events, including their 49th Annual Striptease Reunion-the oldest and most prestigious gathering of its kind-and the 16th Annual Miss Exotic World Pageant, May 26 to 28, 2006 in historic Downtown Las Vegas. Tease-O-Rama is proud to bring some of their favorite daytime convention classes to this year's Miss Exotic World Pageant. Our daytime convention activities provide opportunities for performers, future performers, enthusiasts, scholars and curious bystanders to learn more about burlesque old and new - from the theoretical (lectures on burlesque history) to the very practical (tassel-twirling, stage makeup and dance technique).
