It is very sad what's happening. The real thing is being bulldozed for some new ugly, phony crap. It doesn't make much sense to me. I hate that "doo wop" term too, whether it is used to describe googie motels, or 1950s group vocal rhythm and blues. [ Edited by: thejab 2006-05-23 11:18 ] |
