Where are we with the Tiki Gardens Memorial fund? - General Tiki

I think the communication part was sadly lacking at times, which only leads to confusion. Certainly when this all began, it seemed pretty simple. We at Tiki Central through TikiGardener, helped by Otto's efforts were going to put up a statue on the site of Tiki Gardens. Which of the 2 statue choices would have been decided by a vote. A few months later, and the original idea has been distorted so much that Tiki Centralites are understably confused as to what's being erected, by who, and even whether our contributions are relevant, so it's little wonder that some are a little reticent in giving their $20 or more.... Personally, I've just always thought it was a great idea. The inevitable confusion whenever anything to do with Tiki Gardens arose, but quickly loses it's relevance once we know something is going to be built. And most of the money is coming from elsewhere? It can only increase the size of the Tiki! I'd still liked to have voted on which one to put up, though! Trader Woody
