I have recently started searching for anything on the web re: Can-tiki. We were living in Darwin post cyclone Tracy and my dad actually helped build the can-tiki and although didn't get to sail on the voyage, flew to Singapore for the arrival. Although memories are a bit hazy, I di spend some time playing around the yard as it evolved and I have some newspaper clippings, photo's and stuff if anyone is interested.
