C'mon! I've heard everything but an actual dollar value from you guys who have seen it. Put your knowledge and reputation on the line and name a price. Please, please, please. What's wrong, afraid to be wrong? Moki, thanks. A valid, quantitive appraisal of the collection. All I want to know now is, should I waste my time parting it out to make more than I would for selling the whole thing in one transaction. I do not know a thing about tiki mugs at all. Frankly, I consider mug people to be the bottom feeders of the tiki universe. Like the nickel and dime welfare, foodstamps subspecies of a tiki scavenger, rather than a true collector. Hyenas, roaming lice infested second hand stores hoping to find a Tikibob for $5. Oh the joy!!!But they spend money in the capitalist scheme of things, so welcome cheapskates, I have a collection of old, used dishes for sale. Can I make a profit off you? Maybe. I'm trying to figure vthat out right now. Please tell me mug whiners("someone bought my mug at the last second on ebay and I really wanted it. Wah, wah, wah!). I want to know what you guys really think of this collection! Knowledge is power!! I know nothing of mugs. I've learned more than I care to know in the last six hours, regarding mugs. All mug collections look the same to me. They have stupid colors too. How much should I pay maximum, for this entire set to realize a retail profit of say, $100 total, if I buy it and part it out? So early indications of the quality of this collection seems to indicate that it sucks. Should I not try to sell it then? Can I not mak a profit off this transaction? Are profits not tiki or something? |
