Tiki Central / Tiki Carving / Dremel Recommendation...??

I find that the dremmel kits that come with the flexible shaft attachement work best for me. You find a hanger for the actual motor and then get in close with the shaft.

Bits are really based on what you expect to use your dremmel for. A palm log is a pretty big piece of wood so you might find that a dremmel is really not useful for any large cuts.

Dremmel bits are usually tiny and the motors are not super powerful.

If you want machinery for carving logs I would look into an electric chainsaw or a grinder attachement that looks like a mini-chainsaw blade (I cant remember what that tool is called).

Dremmel is for tiny stuff and shallow cuts.
