Why is all this non-tiki criticism aimed at present day creations? Why are the legends (Don the Beachcomber, Trader Vic, Steve Crane, etc.) never criticized for being non-tiki? Why are the examples below considered tiki? Because they are old? Because they appear in the Book of Tiki? Because of the name on them?
