Parking-wise, I'd get there early (before 8:00am, or at least 9) and the whole lot is vacant. I think an RV, like the famous 600 lb gorilla, can park anywhere it wants to. This beach is great, even locals are unaware of it, it's the best spot for fires & swimming. Great shells wash up in the morning. It's on the ocean side, but it's surrounded by bay access a quick drive away, you'll see. Just bring the kid boat if you want to plant yourselves. Dog-wise, Ocean Beach's famous dog section is right across the inlet.
