Tama - NZ Pounamu/greenstone - Last post for '08! - pg99 - Tiki Carving

You have totally blown my mind here today! I have been fortunate enough to have downloaded photos of Some of Roi Toia's Unbelievable work and don't think I could Survive reading that book mentioned. Though I would be Happy to die trying! I am Totally unworthy and feel absolutely unable to make another wood shaving. I only wish I could have witnessed this 40 years ago. You certainly have given me the urge to carve some greenstone,err, Pounamu.... I still think I will stay with wood but will have to do a Hei-Tiki or two! I might do one in some Ebony I have floating around. I amd Sure you have the interest of about 100 carvers here who are All sitting on the edge of their seats, glued to the Computer screen, waiting for your next post, so don't be long and be as Wordy as you like and YES Lots of Pictures.
