Okay, let's add another post to the mix. I am a late 20 something, Black female, Chicago born and raised. I have secured a teaching position in Wailuku on Maui and am excited about my impending relocation. Any former mainlanders have a any ideas along the lines of "I wish I knew then what I know now" for me? Really renting a place, finding a car, and fighting off bugs are my main concerns at this point.
