At one point, I thought, wow what a tragic situation...but, could this be a scam with an adult collector at the other end? Then I thought, nahh, couldn't be. Having gone through some tragic things myself, I understand how chaotic life can be afterwards. I attributed the inconsistencies to that. I find it interesting though that Barbara has never posted a thank you note herself. She obviously has access to a computer. That alone makes me suspicious of the situation.
