I got a package of paua from Paipo at the end of last week and have been out of town since. Paipo put a small greenstone pebble in the package and I took it with me in my pocket since. I wasn't quite sure what to do with it, and my cheapo ($3.99) 20 piece diamond burr set has not arrived. That left me with one diamond burr shaped like the tip of a round wooden toothpick - probably not the best tool for the job. Anyway, I felt like working on something tonight so I started working with the greenstone. After a little picking and some pruney fingers, here's what I have. I still need to spend time cleaning it up and doing a lot of sanding.
