Looks like you're doing just fine! It's already becoming a great first wood carving!! You'll get used to the grain and how to deal with the trickier areas- Just keep going. Plus, you'll see in the end that the imperfections that bug you in the process develop their own character and add to the piece's Mana. :) Would recommend a mallet also.. |
