I'm not sure if this really belongs in Tiki Finds, since it's not an authentic original tiki, but I think it's cool.

And artist by the name of Erick Thomas makes fake "trophy heads", and at his last Gallery Bink show in Portland, we picked up this tiki-trophy head! Since (duh!) you can't tell in the picture, I'll tell you- the tiki head is green and the mounting plate is brown painted "wood grain". There were 3 mounted tiki heads- this one, a red one, and a blue one, as well as a super brown tiki-head lamp. I liked the lamp the best, but, alas, it was sold before we got there. Fortunatly, this one was my second choice, and my husband's favorite, so everyone was happy!

And, for those in & around Portland, Gallery Bink carries Munktiki too, and is hoping (!!) to have a Shag show this summer. (We're on "the list" to buy stuff before the show opens- cross your fingers for us!)
